Budelli's island is famous for its beautiful Pink Beach. Is is situated just north of Spargi.
Its characteristic coral color is due to the presence of fragments of shells of various pink briozoi and foraminifera, in particular Miniacina pink. The intense color of the water and the curious shapes of granite rocks that surround the bay are a sight unique in the world.
A natural monument to observe in silence. The director Michelangelo Antonioni has immortalized Pink Beach omaggiandola with a long sequence in the film Red Desert.
Safeguard standards and measures for the protection of the Pink Beach
The Pink Beach is one of the most sensitive areas of the whole Archipelago of La Maddalena. For this reason it is protected by the laws creating the Park and various measures including the order n.4/2011.
On the basis of these rules is prohibited:

So is called the lagoon from the emerald sea enclosed between the islands of Casings, Razzoli and Santa Maria. It 's the most attractive part of the park and a popular destination for boaters who frequent the sea in the north east of Sardinia. The Mn Delfino is one of the few boats authorized to drop off its passengers for admire closely this beautiful lagoon.
